The End of Streaming Spotify

I’ve pretty much decided to withdraw my whole catalog of 100+ songs from Shittify. I had one song removed by Shittify because, they said, it had botted streams detected. This despite major labels are guilty of using bot farms to inflate streams on a regular basis. Shittify provides no evidence of these botted streams, and after much digging, I came up with three playlists that may have been the culprits. But, alas, I tried to follow Shittify’s sketchy instructions to report the playlists but was unable to as the playlists had already been deleted.

So the next step for me, as Shittify seemingly has blacklisted me, is to remove my catalog. As you can see, that’ll be no big deal as my followers have dried up faster than a creekbed in the desert.

The numbers I do get are so pitiful that my streams aren’t monetized, so no loss, as far as I’m concerned.

Walks

How often do you walk or run?

I try to walk every day, and keep to it all days of the week, except when my sciatica acts up. The sciatica has a habit of affecting my right leg on almost a daily basis, but between the Gabapentin and a couple of Tylenol Arthritis, the pain is held in check.

And it’s not really a short walk. I try hard to do at least 5 kilometers, which is more than 3 miles. I struggle to maintain a steady pace, but I usually walk for about a hour and a half. Not a rapid pace, but it’s all a 72 year older can manage without injuries.

Tune Out

I was finally able to upload “More Nervous Energy-250819-001” to https://mirlo.space/jaypeach53/releases, but was unsuccessful again uploading to Bandcamp.

Bandcamp’s lack of uploading via their artist app is a major puzzle and the upload feature on their website seems so 2000s design. It’s painful to use.

Time to try and figure out how I’m going to get the music to Bandcamp, though both Bandcamp and Mirlo have been busts in terms of sales. As in none, zippo, zilch.
