Hostinger sucks as a website provider. I just wanted to add a post and waited over 90 seconds for the site to load. I’ve known for a while that their load times are poor, averaging over 5 seconds to load my blog, from the info I’ve gleaned from the Google Site Kit. But 90 seconds? Come on!
New Music-Remixes Vol 4
Here’s a link to my new album, Remixes Vol 4:

It was released about 2 weeks ago, and is getting some traction, especially on TikTok.
Spotify Redux, Pt 3
Spotify said it was going to clamp down on bots and botted streams, but it also going to clamp down on creators who created spam or other AI created content. I don’t know if they also decided to take long-term creators more seriously. I’ve been on Spotify as a creator for almost 4 years now and they’re finally boosting my content as never before.
Formerly, I got almost no streams from their playlists, all of my streams came from promoting my own stuff on various social media platforms. But lately I’ve been getting on algorithmic playlists and I’ve also gotten a decent amount from Radio and other autoplay features. It’s nice that Spotify is finally changing it’s ways, but the payout keeps dropping. Now it’s a mere $.0027 per stream, down from $.0043 when I first started. Which makes promoting my work on Spotify less desirable. The least generous platforms pay 25% more than Spotify, with the most generous 2000% more. Why wouldn’t I direct possible listeners to platforms that are willing to put more money in my pocket?

Funky Music?
So, in addition to the work I’m planning, is there an interest in some funky tunes? The funk music I’ve done in the past seems to get a good reception, especially in Europe.
New Music Coming
Well, Remixes Vol 4 has been out a few days and it’s gotten added to some TikTok playslists so it’s getting so decent airplay, so it’s time to start making some new music. I’m going to try to make more techno and trance tunes using some of the resources I’ve acquired from Reimann Kollection. And I’ll also be making more all original stuff. Electronica and ambient music, to be specific.
Haven’t decided whether I’ll drop them as singles or put them out as another album or EP. Albums seem to be what some platforms prefer. Anyways, stay tuned as I might drop demo stuff on SoundCloud before I release the finished works.
Facebook Ads Again
Trying to get some action through Facebook ads again. In the past, it’s underperformed my expectations. The aim is to get more views and maybe some referrals to my InstaGram page at https://instagram.com/jaypeach00 or my linktree at https://linktr.ee/jaypeach53 where you can find links to my music.
Breather
Now that, I’ve released my latest EP, Remixes Vol 4, I have some spare time to attend to other business. When I’m creating new music, I spend 2-5 hours a day several days a week trying to work things out. Which means I can only spend a little time on my internet duties. And making music is a lot more imprtotant to me.
Spotify Redux, Part 2
I got Spotify’s monthy newsletter and there’s some good news. They’re finally making efforts to counteract bots on their platform. They say they have 600 million “users” on their platform, which is up from 180 million 3 years ago. This “growth” I suspect is largely bots. It’s about time. They need to get rid of bot created streams, if for no other reason than their bottom line. And to stop penalizing artists and labels for suspected botted strsams instead of cleaning up their own house.
Remixes, Vol 4

Well, it’s time for a new release, Remixes, Vol 4. It’s dropping on May 4th on platforms handled by my distributor, DistroKid. It’s already out on SoundCloud. Here’s some links: Https://linktr.ee/jaypeach53 and https://on.soundcloud.com/uxbfuYvdMicCRZuAA
Here’s the track list from SoundCloud:

if you want give a listen on soundcloud, the url is https://on.soundcloud.com/c5hK9aV3q63yEwuB6, otherwise. I’ll be updating the linktree with updated links directly uto the album, or try the SongShare link to get to the most popular platforms.
Spotify Redux
It seems that Spotiy’s threat to defund smaller artists didn’t come to pass. I just got paid for my February streams on Spotify. Not much but every little bit counts. I still direct my listeners to other platforms as payouts on other platforms are 25 to 2000% better. The Spotify payout is now down to $.0027 per stream, even Apple does better at $.004 per stream. Spotify’s payout is down fron $.0043 per stream 4 years ago, a 38% decrease by my reckoning. Beatport pays $.08 per stream. I now get significant streams from 18 streaming services. That’s all for now. Stay tuned.
